You've probably started making plans and preparations for your big wedding day.  There are a few tweaks, here and there, that can take your wedding from good to amazing.  Invest a little time now in your preparations to yield huge dividends.  Here are a few suggestions to take your images from good to great and your wedding video from average to pretty cool.  The following simple suggestions for your engagements and wedding will make your day even better.
ENGAGEMENT TIPS
1. I'm all about making your session something unique to you as a couple. This really is all about you so wear whatever gives you confidence.  And trust me on this, your confidence will be reflected in your images. I'll do everything I can to make the session fun, fresh, and enjoyable.
2. If you bring an outfit change it gives more options for different looks and more variety for your session. Make it about you and your personality!
3. Wear clothing to match your invitations and wedding colors. This will add just that much more finesse to the beauty of your day.
4. A long flowing dress makes a super dramatic and romantic look.
5. Wear neutral tones so the viewer's eye is naturally drawn to you.  Avoid wearing super bright clothing with distracting patterns.  Your face and expression should be the focus of every image, where everyone's eyes should end up.
6. Get your makeup done by a professional so you look your best and feel confident on this most important day.

BRIDALS/FORMALS TIPS
1. Consider doing a first look at the beginning of your session so you look your best and we have plenty of time. I can capture some wonderful moments, timeless, and joyful.
2. A bouquet is symbolic of your day and gives me lots of options for your images.
3. Bring your wedding rings so you actually look married.
2. Work with professionals as you plan and prepare for your wedding day.  You'll look your best, your reception will look amazing, and your day will go more smoothly.
CEREMONY TIPS
1. Gaze into your fiancés eyes during the ceremony because you, not the officiant, are central this day.
2. Please ask your guests to avoid using cell phones during the ceremony.  If you look, you'll see many examples of ruined photos of bride and groom because guests held up their phones to take a picture during the ceremony.  I provide an online gallery of your images, easily shared with family and friends.
3. Ask your videographer to record the officiant and yourselves with a lapel microphone if possible.  Microphones don't zoom like a camera does. If a microphone is placed further away it captures more ambient noise instead of your vows. Unless you just want a music video of your wedding, your vows and any toasts given about who you are and how you met make a much better story!
4. Ask your officiant to move to the side for that iconic moment of your first kiss as husband and wife.
