Five important considerations when choosing your wedding photographer.
1. Can your photographer shoot in low light circumstances?
You'll want to make sure your photographer is ready for anything.  I am intimately familiar with lighting equipment to ensure I capture your most important moments.  Without sufficient light photographs will be blurry, dark, and out of focus.
2.Does your photographer have the skills to pose individuals, couples, and groups on the wedding day?
After photographing dozens of weddings, portrait sessions, and other events I'm very comfortable posing and arranging individuals and groups quickly and efficiently.  I've actually taught other photographers posing techniques, and it is foundational for good photography.
3.  Does your photographer know the area?
I've photographed weddings, engagements, and portraits throughout the Southeast Idaho area and am intimately familiar with numerous areas with great light to help you look your best.  I've photographed weddings and events at venues in Idaho Falls, Rexburg, Pocatello, Salt Lake City, and numerous other areas.
4. Does your photographer listen to you?
That's really important to ensure your wedding day coverage goes well.  I love to get all the important details to make sure I'm there at the right time to capture each important moment.
5. Do you have fun with your photographer?
This is so important!  We all know weddings are stressful.  But it can still be fun.  It's a wonderful, symbolic day to commemorate and celebrate the union of two individuals who become one in purpose, thought, and love.  I love this celebration of life and the hope it brings to all mankind.

Three things to consider for your adventure elopement:
1.  Research the area well.  Make sure you know all the requirements for performing a wedding ceremony and any legal requirements for your celebration of love.  National Parks and State Land Bureaus have differing requirements for your wedding day.
2.  Make sure your photographer is familiar with the area and knows some good locations for your special day.
3. Ensure your officiant is legally allowed to perform your ceremony in the jurisdiction you marry.
4.  Enjoy the moment.  Enjoy the beauty of the natural surroundings you'll be married in, surrounded possibly by loved ones.  And work with your photographer, communicating all your goals, hopes, and dreams to capture this wonderful day and preserve the memory of these events always.
